The deadline for registration in the Student Games 2019 is 1 February for teams and individual sports. Some of the sports are very popular and we can not guarantee that you will be given the chance to participate if you are late with your registration.
The team leader must register the team in the registration system. When the team is registered, the individual members of the team register themselves. For every team member who registers to the team, the team leader will receive a confirmation email.
The participation fee i 625 NOK regardless of the sport you want to participate in. If you would like accommodations at a school this is 325 NOK, which brings the total up to 950 NOK.
Participation in at least one sport, insurance and travel allowance from NSI, entrance to the opening ceremony and banquet.
It is possible to sleep at a school in Trondheim. This includes breakfast. Other alternatives are booking rooms at one of our partner hotels Thon Hotel Nidaros or Clarion Hotel & Congress. Read more about accomodation here.
It is possible to sign up for more than one sport, but you can only participate in one sport a day. This is due to some of the competitions being parallel. This is however only offered to individual sports and team sports with shorter than 3 days duration. It will be possible to register for competitions on Saturday, given that your team is not playing finals that day. Information regarding this will be available at a later time.
Yes, as long as they are members of a student sports club and the number non-students in a team don’t exceeds 25% of the total team members.
Yes, as long as they are members of a student sports club and the number non-students in a team don’t exceeds 50% of the total team members.
The Student Championship is an open event for all students who are members of a club associated with NSI. Non-students can participate if they participate in a team race within a given quota, but all must be as a member of a student sports club. All participants must show proof of membership in their student team by accreditation.
The age limit for participating in SL2019 is 18 years.
If your sport start early Thursday it is probably best to be in Trondheim on Wednesday. You don’t want to miss out on anything that goes on during SL2019, so be here as early on as possible!
Registration is binding. If you cancel your participation within 1 January, you are entitled to a full refund of the participation fee.If the cancellation happens within 1 February you are entitled to a 50% refund of the participation fee. Team and athletes who do not withdraw from the Student game within 1 February can not claim reimbursement of the participation fee. Cancellation due to too many participants gives a full refund of the participation fee, regardless of the cancellation date.
